Has anybody noticed if they are pulling lease rpm when u drop a jet size. Am I losing a bit of power or something that i dropped 200 rpm?

I also noticed when I went to the 470's i was pulling 200 rpm less on the hill and even on the trail and a few times on a really long pull down 400 - 500 rpm less. This was different from two weeks earlier with the 480's and same hill ws pulling strong all day. Temp was colder the second time...

Should I be jetting for the mountains since that's where I do most of my riding. Or jet here and let the dpm make up for it

I guess everyone has there own opinion on the matter which is good. Some people say wash others say plugs and others say exhaust temp. Keeps me thinking lol. I'm getting some good info though which is really good.

I use a borescope to check wash. And from what I understand it takes several rides for your wash to change not just one pull

I changed the jets cause my plugs were always black and I had to much wash on the pistons. Going to change back and check again. Will check into the air intake thing never heard of that

My plugs only had one or two small specks on them. Looks like the same specks though.

I have read a few reviews from some people and rental places saying they work, but until u actually use a force meter or something and watch it bend and compare numbers I guess it's all word of mouth. I have spent more money on less for my xp, worth a try IMO .
