Turning the track the opposite way to prevent trenching???!

Okay, my buddy tells me I should turn the track around on my m1k 153" powerclaw so that the direction (curve) of the lugs are not cutting into the slope but more cutting away from the slope, to help prevent such harsh trenching which my machine does seem to have. So in theory, the forward-facing...

Don't Know What To Do (Head mod & Elevations) PLEASE HELP

I'm looking at applying the Exterminator Kit from Speedwerx to my '09 M1000. The Kit consists of ported cylinders, intake, complete exhaust, reeds, clutch kit, fuel programmer and a low elevation (0-5000) stealth head kit. Some of my riding will be well beyond 5000ft and I understand the 14.5:1...

    Looking to turbo my m1000

Hey Bruce, I spoke with you earlier about the Aero kit for a M1000. Do you offer a low boost/pump gas kit in the Aero 66, one without throttle body etc.? Perhaps something closer to the $5k mark if a guy didn't want to go that extreme but still wanted to go Aero? Thx

Is tunnel extension necessary if I want to extend my track f/ 153"-162" in my M1000?? If I want to extend my track from 153" to 162" in my M1000, is it necessary to extend the tunnel as well? I'm looking at boosting my M1000 w/ a boondocker and I've heard it's very wise to run at least 162" in...

Turbo kit for 2009 arctic cat m8

Storch, What did the Aero 66 kit run you ($) on your m1k? Done at MM in edmonton? I'm thinking of putting one on my '09 m1k 153" Tyring to decide which boost setup to go with. Thx,

    help with 09 m1000

I bought the Mountain seat for my '09 M1K and what an amazing upgrade! I'm just waiting to hear from my dealer on pricing for the Speedwerx Exterminator kit, I think I'm going to go that route. Do you think that's a wise choice? Chris

    help with 09 m1000

Thanks a bunch catman! Obviously, the rising temps were due to not using a controller. Im just getting setup with the speedwerx pipe & y-pipe, jaws can, high flow intake and power commander alont with appropriate clutching mods. I hope this helps unleash the beast. Cheers, Chris

Any idea why the over-temp occured when running the high flow intake? Was it the speedwerx intake? Did you get it solved? Thx

Jaws Twin vs. Single Pipes for M1000?

Thanks! So speedwerx says they do not recommend any other can, naturally, as the programming will not be the same as the back pressure is different. You say you have the programming for the jaws can with the speedwerx pipe & y? Is this with the boondocker programmer or the power commander...

Jaws Twin vs. Single Pipes for M1000?

Glengine, What all would be included with the kit? y-pipe, expansion chamber, can + controller? How much for everything? Can I use my current MBRP can with the seedwerx pipe & y-pipe? What is the breakdown cost for all this also. And about the 3 degree timing key, how does it work, what does it...

Fuel Consumption on M1000, Will Pipe & Fuel Controller Make it Noticeably Worse?

I find my M1000 is already a hog on gas in comparison to the 800's. Some areas with long ride-ins or a full day of riding will leave me with fumes as I get back to the truck. I want to add some power and have decided to go with a single pipe vs. a twin for simplicity and reliability and figure...
