:realmad:the gas price rose in town today to 114.9/litre for regular, this is rediclious most of us work in the patch and this is what we are faced with at the pumps, and it comes out of the ground here, and diesel is more than that, how are the truckers going to survive? In the end the consumer will get charged more because the trucking companies WILL raise the freight charges to offset the rise in fuel.

I don't know how many people on this site work "in the Patch". I know that I don't and I know a few other memebers that don't.

Do you think you should have lower gas/diesel prices than the rest of us because you work "in the patch"?

Lets not forgot about the farmer's, I farm about 2000 acres, and i figured it out how much it well cost me to run the 4 wheel tractor pulling the seed-drill. it well be about $1500 day on a 10 hour day. There goes the vaction this summer.:(

As long as I can go round trip from the house on a tank of gas, I won't complain. Dad gets all his fuel paid for from work so whenever we go somewhere we take my truck and he pays the fuel. Only kicker is he has to get it at the gas station in town here. Makes it nice though for day trips. $100+ in fuel every time you fill the truck and 2 quads.

I pay all my own fuel costs so these increases hurt.

I actually smile everytime I fill up, no not cause I drive a car (dodge hemi), but because I know the province is getting richer and creates more jobs for me...:twocents: Am I the only one?? If prices weren't this high, would there be as many jobs out there for all of us???

I would like to see more refineries built in AB...
