Holly shatz man I cant take it anymore. Iam tired of mud , bugs, dust, and stewing in my own juices. Kind of similar to Daydreaming thread but didnt want hijack. So do tell whats happening you guys must be wrenching and modding. Whos ordered what and whos doing what? Iam pretty sure Iam gonna C.R. tunnel the stock M1000. Wifes got a M8 sno pro coming but Ive been told to --no touchy. The Apex and the other M1000 were boosted last year. Sitting in the shop with my helmut and Summer Sucks gear revving the engine is getting pretty Poster Child.

Got a bit of work ahead of me on the rat rod. A 136 extension (rather jump then climb) revalve all the shocks, smaller jumps were landing rock hard. Some new pannels and hood for a different color combo, some black sly dogs, and the ATACC is gonna go on the 800 implant, im tired of changing jets. Oh and less duct tape and more pretty this year ahahaha.

You know that ol' chestnut....mod sled first couple of times out to figure what works and what don't....PSI's need thermostats, and the carbs that i had had a huge lean spot about 5000-6500 rpm....so with new nicasil and some coated and buleprinted pistons.....and most definantly and different set of carbs....she should be a Nitroused RX1 killer....
Blueprinting= drilling 3 1/16 holes in between the big and little exhaust ports to help with cooling and to thwart the dreaded 4 corner stick.....that they are famous for.
But now that the line has been drawn in the snow.....if NosRX1 does get his sled turbo'd.....he may have a weee bit of an advantage.....so hence the query about BB turbo's...

well there is no turbo going on this year, I don't think I am going to need it againist a frankenstiened "IQ".....there Big IQ?, that question mark belongs at the end of your name, and the end of your sled....hehe.:D Because I am not sure of you or your sled!!!. I am just going to fix the bearing on the Jackshaft, change the oil and put some new gas in the tank and turn the key!!, I spent enough $$$$ last year!:D

BIG IQ We run 2 t-boosted sleds, one a four and one a 2 str. The wieght factor of the 2 str. makes it bestest for me. I'd rather barrel roll under 560 lbs. rather than 680 lbs. We built up from twin Mitsues and the numbers were very good. Only tested last half of season so this year will put the final tweeking in.Always good to have a stocker in the trailer though. Knock on wood never needed it last year

BIGIQ You might be better off NOSing if you r looking for under 10# performance. I think I will have 2 T-boed sleds sleds for sale next year, they are fun to build. But at my age they take me where I just shouldn't be. If you give me your engine # I will give you your # on 5/7 off baseline. A simulated dyno full scan run is pretty acurate. I hope your not assuming that if you keep your Boost low it will keep your problems low. Some people believe that, some people dont, I very much DON'T. A well running Spooler is a well running Spooler. A shatty running Spooler is a shatty running spooler..........no matter where its dialled in at. Moving into my new shop so shop is still in rail containers, will be done soon. P.M. me in 10 or so days see if I can help you.Boost is BOOYAAH it's all in the setup.
