Vale for the W today. Rode this afternoon at Allen. Deep snow and still snowing when we came down. Just rolled back into town.

I’m sure it is ....but don’t think Allen or Chappell will hold up well with the added pressure of clemina being closed.... prob every Albertian sledder will be out this weekend

Rode Chappel yesterday. Wildest snow/pack conditions with there being little to no “base” meaning it was trench city out there. Made for amazing riding if you could keep momentum up! One group left a snowmobile in the far end of the meadows area as it was “too stuck”. I think a creek may have been involved. Epic conditions.

FINALLY….the report we all have been waiting for. Conditions are all time right now with close to a meter of new snow falling this week and more on the way today. NOW is the time to get to Valemount and we are sooooo happy to finally be able to say that. The temps are warm with a bit of rain down in the staging areas so expect to get wet! With the warm temps and fresh snow we are doing our best with the trails and the conditions given. f you are looking for smooth access, we suggest getting out of bed early until things cool off. Avalanche Canada has issued a Special Avalanche Warning for the weekend due to the new snow sitting on top of some weaknesses, so please listen to the warnings, stick to low angle terrain, and keep a great distance away from any large slopes. Ride safe and have fun

Rode chapel, really wind blown now. Some aspects are firm while others are bottomless pits of deep deep snow. Think our group had 45 stucks today.

Theres a black and yellow 850 SP sticking up out of a wind drift or creek, not much left sticking up, another storm and she will be gone till summer. It’s located off the goat trail that sidehills from the trail down towards the lake.

How was the visibility?
Yesterday we couldn't tell a drop from an incline. Made for an interesting day.

Vis was good! Wasn’t blue bird but wasn’t socked in either. I don’t think anyone went up higher from the lake.
