Thinking of doing the X3 162" and 7t avid drivers,on my 14 pro. Motor is stock beside a par. 12.5 head, MDS weights. Is the 7t drivers gearing down the right amount? Or would i need to gear down more? Are any of you having cooling problems? Some rides I need to do max 15km, Of groomed trail that can be kind of hard packed. Stock track and scratchers down run about 130-140f.

I did mine at the start of the year. X3 with 7T drivers, anti stab kit, SLP pipe, PCV and clutching. Haven't had anything but big smiles out of it, cooling hasn't been an issue with just the stock scratchers even when towing another sled.

I'm running the X3 162 with a Kmod skid and turbo and I have had cooling troubles on the trail though I think it's due to the shorter Kmod scratchers. As for the track, great in the deep and softer snow. Interested to see how it does as we get further into spring.

X2... I keep hearing this the single best mod you can do... Kinda worried it hooks and propels forward instead of spinning and turning for a line change.

I dont have one but plan on it. Ride withbuds on doos that are 3" and ya minimal tuning and a beast, fer what ive seen its by far the best mod ya can do besides turboein, easy answer, take er or not

How do the x3s work for tree riding and boondocking ?

They work awesome for tree riding. I went from the 163 stock track to the 162 X 3 and found it much more forgiving in the trees. When things get a little tight, I can actually slow down, pick a line, and get back on 'er. I definitely wouldn't go back.

Love mine for tree riding and boondocking, no drawbacks. As for my earlier post regarding running hot, swapped the ****ty KMOD scratchers for some Cat ones and problem solved so had nothing to do with the track.

Wondering what was the approximate cost for the 162 3 inch track, the avid 7 tooth drivers and the anti stab kit?

Thanks

Your on the wrong site now traitor!!! LOL.

Jon if you're doing it yourself, 1500ish, keep your eyes open for deals on here or Snowest. New or used they both work.
