Getting steel ordered to frame the door this week! Will FINALLY finish caulking the base this week, and hopefully getting the rubber baseboard up next weekend.

have you purchased the rubber baseboard yet? if not maybe do some research into something else. i have that rubber stuff and it's ok, but every so often i have to glue some back on. it looks a little too much like what you see in a hospital or office. i am going to peel mine and put a one foot strip of checkerplate around the perimeter. more sporty looking.

wife ran into the wall with her sled a few times? Need to put some solid "wall protection" in place?

I got some rubber baseboard for free then I'm going to get it painted white. I think with a poop ton of PL400 it will hold to the wall. What did you use to glue it to your wall?

free is always good. i use construction adhesive to hold it on now. i think it was peel and stick crap that the contractor put on. i want something that makes it look more bright and offsets the floor color.

yeah I enjoy free as well. Yeah that wouldn't work. We have some of the rubber baseboard at work and it was stuck to the wall with PL400 and it's still holding strong. So hopefully this will work. I figured paint it white like the walls and it will offset the grey floor color fairly nicely.
