Not Awesome. River is still open, grooming limited to south trails so far for the most part, lots of hangers down on the North trails.

Was good to see you two out yesterday. You can go right to the river now. There were sled tracks on the Oldman. Quite a difference in snow as you go north!

The snow toward the summit get's realy thin that way .....we turned around about halfway to the highest point between the summit cabin and tom's hill cabin .....nothing groom that way !

Yes I cleared that dead fall and went right to the river. Also went back for the Mogul Master and groomed up to the road before the river.

Still a bit shy of snow to groom the Summit trail? Was thinking of having a look this weekend.

Neither. I just don't take the drag down it. The Cat alone climbs it easily. The trail ends at the river for heavy traffic anyway about a mile up. Another groomer grooms from the north on the other side. River is not safe for sleds yet.

I had come down and was going back up in the picture.

Looking at making a trip from Cold Lake for the weekend. We're not getting any snow here out of the clipper pushing through. Any recommendations on places to ride? Is it even worth it yet? We were looking at maybe heading north of town on the golden triangle. Any good open fields to play around in up there? Open to any suggestions, as we have never been. Just looking to explore somewhere new.

Just got back from the whitecourt area. First time there and was very impressed. We did the north trails (eagle river) the first day and then grout creek side today. A few bare spots but no issues at all, and the snow was falling as we drove out of town. Well worth the trip.
