My GPS says 466km's, roughly 5 hours? That seems completely wrong. It looks more like 9-10 hours from the map.

Which route would be the best way to go?

hwy 43/44 (whichever one brings you south to edmonton and hwy 16) takes almost 4hrs to do from gp.. your gps is def off.. from the mac its roughly 12hrs depending on roads, what your hauling, and whose driving it seems.. as per route i dont know what to tell you sorry

You would be better off going to Valemount or Mcbride which would only be about 500km from Grande Prairie.

I heard it's been getting lots of snow in Tumbler, I have a weatherman who drives there every day and reports the conditions back to me.
