I agree that you shouldn’t hang too much off of the trusses in your garage. That was before I went to a co-workers house where he had his 18’ Malibu ski boat complete with trailer suspended off the trusses in his attached garage, with his sleds on a trailer parked underneath. Come summertime, the positions were reversed.

Finished up redoing the plywood on my sled deck the other night. Turned out pretty decent I think. I’m not into spending $5000+ on a new deck so my 15 year old marathon will get some love. I just have to find some of that superclamp traction material for it now and a good wash and polish after.

Not from today but last fall”s project. Backyard luge! It’s a blast. Drunk neighbours use it in middle of the night too!
I’m going to change it a bit, thinking of installing some rollers, the puck board is not as slippery as I’d hoped. I had a used a weed sprayer to mist it every night to get a good ice build up but it was too hard to maintain once the sun came around in the afternoon. Looking for some 20” rollers grime a loading dock or might try some roller blade wheels. Don’t need much to keep kid moving.

I’ll try to figured out how to download a video

Me and the boy took his Rival nemesis apart yesterday in pre for a battery upgrade and heavier wire and new trigger switches.
