pano-dude have you gone to the lake to the right of Thunder Lake? Which way is the boulder field from top of Thunder lake?

yup great spot to drop off and ski, boulder field is before the gas drop.

looks awesome cant wait to get out this weekend

Monday was bluebird, windy and cold. Meadows were pounded pretty hard from the weekend but lots of DEEEP stashes if you are not afraid of trees. :d Forecast is for very warm temps this weekend for the area, choose your terrain carefully.

most likely we will spend most of our ride on the flatter terrain as ive heard avy conditions are pretty bad right now

Hey oler, a buddy and i broke in a fair ways to welsh last year. got just below the first lake without much problem at all. some tight trees but nothing a stock mountain sled couldn't handle. Had to head back as we ran out of time.
