Has anyone taken the Iron Horse Trail from Waskatenau east? Thinking of taking the family out for a few hours. Trying to find something interesting and close by for the day. Thoughts?

Haven't been there for a few years but it was a very nice relaxing ride

The ride from Waskatenau to Smokey is VERY uninteresting. I highly recommend starting in Smokey Lake and heading East. That section of trail is very scenic and there are some sand trails just West of Bellis to explore.

Thanks for the tips. Ended up just gravel roading the countryside for an hour. First trip with the kids. Still got some bugs to smooth out!
