Tweeking stock sled.

I have a stock '10 Summit 800. I've done a DJ clutch kit and can but thats it.

Just thought it would be interesting to see what kinds of "tweeks" could be done with a stock sled to maximize what is already there.

I'm sure there are lots of good ideas.....

get your head done that is a great mod to do and fairly good priced you did the clutch wich is usually first thing to really do. and a Y-pipe and probably main pipe

An aftermarket head is better than a reworked stocker....better cooling around the combustion chamber. Go 13 or 13.5:1 and run good fuel. I like the Engine Tech head. Peak HP is up a little bit, but torque and mid-range snap is greatly improved.

Get air to the engine....the stock air intake is lacking. A couple of Flowrites in the rear of the lower airbox works for me.

Twin pipes work on the 800r....even on a stocker.
