trouble setting carb up

I have a 1990 Yamaha SnoSport. Starts fine cold, idles good but once it warms up i still have to choke it to start it. Is this normal for this size of engine?

Shouldn't need to choke on a warm engine. Sounds like you are due for a carb job. I would buy the kit and take it apart and clean it well or if your uncomfortable with that just bring it in. :d

A possible problem could be asimple as fuel line to close to the motor I seenit
before specially with old fuel lines they get warm and lose there seal and start
to leaking air creating air lock hope this helps

had one of those with carb problems...they wear out..the actual carb housing ..throttle slide bore...pin bore etc...not to say thats your problem...but replacable parts may not fix problem...and i don;t think the carb is avaliable to purchase anymore...have a yamaha dealer put it on the antiquated list and another dealer may have one hiding...or adapt a carb....ps..possible crank seal problems coming...vacuum etc
