I am getting a lot of noise from my clips on my track when it makes contact with the sliders! I have tried loosening and tightening the track and it doesn't seem to help! Wondering if anyone could give me an answer on this? Any info would be much appreciated thanks

Mine does the same thing, it did need a slight alignment which also tightened the track a tad, it was a little quieter but still "clacks", especially down hill on packed snow. At 8000 rpm its good! Sherm

Yeah they make a bit of a clicking noise for the first bit, a lot more noticeable in reverse.

Ice builds up in the tunnel too and can make some odd noises. I notice this the most after sitting for a bit then go carve around a bunch.

Like Sherm said.. @ 8000 she's all good haha.

All you mentioned was "2015 Summit". I have a T3 and there are some differences from the 2014's. My 2014 XMX 163 has 2900 km and the sliders are still in great shape. There are 4 idler wheels inside the skid (around the middle of the skid). As Maxwell said earlier, "weight savings with the T3'.....

On my 2015, there are no idler wheels and the sliders were toast at the 10 hour check up (550 km) and some were gone around 200 km. I am convinced that the T3's need idler wheels. Naturally, there are none available. I have borrowed a pair from the 2014 and I will see what that will do.

When the track is a little loose, there is probably "slap" from the clips to the sliders and the idler wheels would prevent that.

I noticed most of the noise coming from the rear axle wheels the most. This is while riding beside my friends '15 154 the other day. Seems like the clips contact the slider a bit as they start to bend/go around the rear axle wheels.

My '14 154 made much of the same noises. As did his '13 154.

Both the 'X's sitting in my shop have 4 wheels, one is a at '15 the other a '14 and both in 154"

And Fernie.... All these wheels are the same diameter... Not sure why your 14' has smaller ones?!?! That a 163 deal?

2014 154" X

2015 154" X

Same here I got xm and xp ones with the mounts to. I take those out of all my sleds. They hold lots of snow. Mine are in the Edmonton area if anyone is interested.
