Wanting to do a top end refresh on a 13 - 800. Do you guys have any hints or stuff to watch out for when in the process? Thanks

Doing some preventive maintenance. Sleds never let me down and sometimes I have stretched it too it limits, even blew some those dang belts at same time. Little TLC is coming...

Understand PMs but what is your compression on both holes? I was thinking the same but 145psi with roughly 4000k. I'm gonna keep it running until they drop bellow 130psi for new top end. BRP sells maintenance kits for all you need, but there are some great performing aftermarket piston and rings.

I really like the Wossner dual ring pistons. Reasonably priced, and great quality.

Mcb is my first choice for touch up prevention measures, other than stock ones

I went with Wossners on mine. I did some research and I liked what I was seeing from people that put Wossners in. Haven't been able to get out and put any miles on it yet though.

X3 on wossners! I don't understand the just checking compression thing. Compression won't show on a piston that's ready to bust a skirt off.

Ya they are around 130

X3 on wossners! I don't understand the just checking compression thing. Compression won't show on a piston that's ready to bust a skirt off.

No it won't but it will give you early indication of slippage or blowby
