I received a Toby Creek Adventures PowderX day trip gift certificate for my birthday and am wondering if anyone has ever done this trip with them. I am no stranger to deep snow techniques, but his will be my first trip to the mountains and not sure what to expect.

It's kind of a trail ride, not a big area... But good for first timers

They take lots of people up from out of country

A few years ago I took my family there, group they had going up was from Mexico

If its a powder x tour you will probably be going to forster. Which is the main managed areas in the valley.
Great guides, first class operation and you will enjoy.

Me and a couple buddies did this a few years back. Guide was awesome. We were the only ones out with the guide both days and they tailor your ride to the skills of the group. Was definitely not a trail ride.

I'm pretty pumped about the trip. Just wondering on clutch weights, I have the stock weights good for 5000 - 7000 ft in my 600 Pro RMK and dont know if I should drop down.

by google earth most your ridings above 6000 ft. peaks a bit above 8000 and looks like people get up there, bunch of pictures up there not real steep...... so up to you if you want to put in 56s being you are probably riding mainly at 7000 ft you will be on the edge, i like to over rev polaris specs a bit.....under reving sucks.
