Goodyear Silent Armour

I had a set on my Silent Armours of my F350. Great tire but I found they wore quick. Just put a set of kelly safari tsr's on my chev 3500, look good, a bit louder not sure how they will wear yet.

i run the procomp xtreme A/T 35/12.5/20 they are quiet and ride nice good grip if you need it and they wear like iron, i went through my stock good years on my superduty in 30000kms i have 25000 on these now and im only down 10-15% only downside is they suck on ice, i will be buying another set when these wear out in another 80000km's,

we run the Duratracs on our company trucks and they don't hold up well to the gravel roads. be lucky to get 50K out of them.

Was looking at the silent armors but also heard they wear quickly so I went with the Cooper Zeon's. Great tire so far on the snow, ice, wet etc. They look really good on the truck and are not noisy at all.

Are you looking to upgrade or just replacements? I want to upgrade my tires at some point, but dont need to yet. If you are interested in them I would sell them. They are michelin 265/70/17's with lots of tread left.

I found them to be the best for all the gravel that i drive, and if you buy them in the states they are a half decent price too.

Need to upgrade. Got a level kit on front end to fit the bigger tires. Want a little aggressive tire. Was wondering what everyone was finding good is all.

Found these to have quite a bit of road noise.

Right now I'm running 285/75/15 Michelin at2's have nothing bad to say about them

Looking for something a little more aggressive for next time. Thinking b-f Goodrich at t/a ko's. Lots of guys around here have fierce attitudes. Check em out

I was thinking of getting those too. The only issue I have with them is the 35/12.5/17 is only a d rated tire.

These are not Silent Armor. Those are as picture shows Wrangler SRA all season Tire, huge difference.

I've been running the silent armors since they first came out, got 110,000 km on chev 1/2, then upgraded to 2008 F350, got 60,000 km on this set now, will probably get another 20,000 km before I have to put new set. Have a set on wife's 2006 F150 with 50000 km on them and 50% tread left. I run the "E" rated tires and wouldn't purchase anything else but the silent armor at this point in time.
They also have the snow flake on them as well.
One thing is I don't run alot of gravel, so if you do work in the patch and run alot of gravel, you will not get high km's out of any tire.

If your interested I also have a set of Michelin AT2 LT265/70R18 and am located in Sundre as well.

I tried the AT2's briefly but am currently running DuraTrac's for the winter and will probably run the Fierce Attitude M/T for the summer.
