sorry i meant to quote the guy before that. end of the day they have a partnership to supply turbo 2 stroke engines and thats a win
Not much different than Textron / Cat deal with Yamaha ....or many of the sole source arrangements Apple has for that matter.... maybe at some point Polaris will source a blower option too ....

I think there might be some misconceptions on this thread. ROTAX is its own entity as it supplies all the motors for BMW motorcycles.
I know this as I have had 2 BMW motorcycle and it was written ROTAX all over them.
In fact my wife BMW car has ROTAX components on it too.
So ROTAX is a supplier of motors to BRP, like they are to BMW and others.

Why not just keep it n/a and lighten it up? Possibly one of the cheapest and easiest mods to do with out sacrificing reliability

Remember the DS 650 BRP quad. When it first came out the motor had BMW on the side.

The DS650 was a giant heavy pig. I worked at the BRP dealer back then and the only one we sold blew up, tossed the rod.

I had one. Was alot of fun. Rode it hard and only broke the chain in 4 years of abuse. Heavy and no reverse was my only complaints.
