Skidoo should come out with a 1000 2 stroke, put a 162 track on it. Blue and yellow would be a great colour combination. $16,500 OTD would be a great price too.

Summit 1000 Prototype.jpg I found a spy picture of what appears to be a 2017 Summit 1000. Looks like it is ready to ride for testing this year.

What a pile of crap?
Had two of those pieces of crap and the 2005 was terrible and never did run right .
Blue up a month into riding it.
Replaced with 2006 and not a hole lot better.
Yours was awesome with sway bar out ??

Yep, spectacular especially without the sway bar. Everyone said "take the sway bar out, it'll handle so much better." What a bunch of bull crap. Funny how 10 yrs later we are talking about the same thing. Can you imagine if it had a 3" track.

BTW Pfi, you should take off that POS 2.5" 174 and go back to the 3" 174 you were running for years because it's better :)

The whole sled is designed to be light weight. The 2017 Brochure will highlight the 1000 weight target a mere 10% more than an 800.

"After extensive testing we have decided on a single solid scissor rear skid combined with a 2.25 track to maximize flip ability and track speed and as an extra special addition, we have maintained our drop and roll chaincase (with the drivers specifically designed to hang slightly below the belly pan - as a rock and debris awareness device)." To keep the clutching and performance shops on their toes, we have designed an ECU Module and Injection system that randomly adjusts timing and fuel delivery. BRP Performance Division.
