What's a good 65" TV? Would like it to be 4K and budget is about $2000. Currently have a Hisense 50" LED and would like to replace it with something bigger.

Currently we have a 55" LG 4K 120HZ LED TV, and it works pretty well, looks really good with Netflix in 4K, of course our Eastlink box is only 1080P so 4K doesn't help us most of the time. If you can swing it get an OLED TV, the blacks look so much darker which is really helpful in a darker room. OLED Tv's are about as good as you can get, and LG makes the OLED displays for Sony, Panasonic, and Phillips.

If I were to upgrade this is the one I think I would get.

Current Telus Optic tv box is 4k along with wanting to watch as you say Netflix, also the size of the larger tv will be nice when playing PS4 and Xbox one.

Thanks for the info

We have a samsung 55" 4k paid well under what your budget is last year. You should be able to find a good name brand in your price range. If your not in a hurry wait until boxing week thats when all the smoking deals happen

One thing to remember is Electronics from a true electronics store and from a big box store are not the same thing. Their are slight differences even though the model number may be the same or close. For the average user this is not a big issue, but for someone that is looking for a higher end they will see the difference not that someone looking for high end is shopping for electronics at a big box store. Me and a buddy got pretty much the identical tv other than extra number on his model, the picture on mine was far superior compared to his on the same source. I really did not spend much more than he did..

Ya the LED tv's are really low in price but I'm looking for a 65" OLED 4K tv and they are a bit more. Will have to wait because the oven **** the bed and I have to buy a new one of those now

Got nothing against costco but in my experience with big box stores like that. Their are slight variations in quality and features between buying from a big box or a electronics store. Bestbuy has them for almost the same price or the place above. Also much easier to get warranty dealing with a electronics store. Had a friend that had to get waranty on a hot tub from them and it was a real PIA. they finally loaded it up and drove 6 hours and droppid it at their door and got a refund

Will keep an eye on the Costco sales as I think it ends on thur and can't make it there beforehand. Their warranty is very good. I bought 3 TVs in the past from visions and their attitude and warranty hassle here in gp is horrible.

Thanks guys

I have had a Samsung 65" for about 3 or 4 years now....no issues at all...highly recommended.

Be careful on the comparisons...look at the model numbers Samsung makes many models that are 4K. Go online and compare the actual specs between the , 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000 and even the 9000 series.
Each one offers a bit more (some features of the higher models may not be important to you - refresh rates, inputs, wi-fi, etc) and that will reflect the price. A 6500 (mid spec) may offer 4K but it is not the same picture quality of the high end 9000 series but the price reflects that too.
