this is why we like surfing so much..... the speed is nice and relaxing,, the tunes can be heard,,,,, wow cant wait...

this sunday I think will be my first surf..... lets start the crew for the summer....

I was thinking of blowin the dust off the BU this week-end as the weather is shapin up but now we have a b-day party on Sat. Maybe Sun at Wab to catch up with those other crazyies

it was so warm 3 weeks ago after going in with the dry suit I went with just my shorts in early may,,, then it snowed the next day.... grrrrr

we have 2 new 1100lb bags for each side of the boat for the next session,, should be good

at 10-12 mph an hr,my 454 is idling at that speed maybe 1400 rpm.....

yeah I agree, it is suprisingly not that bad on fuel, wakeboarding at 22mph with 1000lbs ballast burns more fuel then surf n with 2500lbs at 11mph...

my camera diedthe other night with my new 1100 lb bags so no pics,, water was cold.... wave was awesome, I am stoked.

At WOT (play speed) I burn 22 gal/hr.... cruising @ 23 mph I burn 9 gal/hr and putting around @ 8 mph I burn 5 gal/hr

we built a jet boat a few years back that had about 900 HP, a custom cut stainless impeller, Berkley 12JG and would burn a little over $400 in race gas in just under 3 hrs at an average cruising speed of 60 mph....LOL never tried to ski behind it....
