Had the opportunity today to ride with Alfred and his son Neil at Corbin with the Doo Demo crew, Alfred was trying a new XP. They're a good bunch of guys who really like their product and really, really like sledding. I even got a chance to try a new XP and I gotta say I'll stick with my M8, that XP was not for me. I found it hard to boondock with and the Etec was surprisingly not impressive at all. From all I heard about it I thought I would like it, but thats not the case. It is a clean running and good sounding engine though maybe the aftermarket boys can help it out a little. We started by heading to a small lake with about 2' of fresh on it and I watched the guys on the demo machines and they were all struggling, by noon though they looked like they were getting the hang of them, I'm thinking that there's bit of a learning curve with the new XP. What do you guys think?

there is a learning curve forsure..I had an m8 and now on a XP it does take a bit to get use to.I still feel the M8 was a better boondocking sled and very easy to lay over, while i find the XP likes staying on the ski's and pulls alot better than the m8...Will get a good ride in Jan 21-23 in McBride though and see if i can figure out the XP alittle better.....As for suspenion the XP is awesome compared to the M8...Both are great sleds
