I figure that if I can dance all morning on the closed tailgate, then it can handle the lightest half of the sled. I weigh 200ish, and there is no way that the end of the sled is any more than 150lbs. (unless it were a yammy. bwahahahahahah).

It looks so much cooler to have the ass end up with the closed tailgate. :Cool9:

Besides, having the tailgate open results in having paint chips taken out of it, I speak from experience. :Ccry:

Get a sled deck .its way cooler:beer:

Coming from the guy with the bad back, dont bother trying it! No point killing yourself to be one of the "cool" kids with the gate up.

You could always 3M tape your tailgate? Save on the rock chips.

Hey Trev.........

Yeah I was just simply curious, I have no plans on doing this, I like my back to much.

I have a tailgate protector(cover) that keeps it from getting chipped.........just straps on.........yeah I have a strap on for my truck:d:rolling:

I don't worry about anyone running into the back of me...........
