My daughter in law has a '79 F250 crew cab short box just about that colour. Man those are good looking trucks!

Brings me back to the stock car racing days. 77 250 super cab with a 460 and a built C6. I am by no means a Ford guy, but that thing was unstoppable as long as you could keep fuel in the tanks.

That thing turned out nice. I'm currently swapping a 77 F-100 onto a 2010 Crown Vic chasis.

Given the "sled deck on a F-150" theme, I wonder what his real GVW and axle weights will be? That's a heavy steel body on what was an aluminum pop can originally...
