Sad to see it go. Grub was decent and they didn't make you pre-pay for fuel. Also had good fuel prices and marked premium.

Does seem funny, new bridge going in there and twinning of the highway. Burn it down collect insurance and then sell the land to the ministry of transportation, timing is perfect.

Why does everyone first think insurance
It was a oil filled radiant heater that started the fire, owner Turned heater on before his wife came to do books upstairs and next thing ya know smoke is coming from the roof downstairs
At that point it wasn't saveable as they tryed everything till the fire trucks showed up

Do those of you accusing the owners of burning down their business, not see how wrong it is to start that kind of rumor with no proof. Some times bad things happen to good people.

Totally different people and situation, they know it was the heater although investigation isn't done yet

Truly sorry for the loss of a local business....
But, I guess there's no reason for anyone who lives east of there to come this way anymore. Timmy's in Revy is still ok, best just to stick to Boulder.

I'll give you that.... From the day I first walked in there at (maybe) 12 yrs old, I definitely noticed the excessive amount of porn on the magazine racks! lol

I also heard it was a space heater that caused it. Crappy deal, hardworking people out of a job. All this talk of insurance...I think insurance pays to rebuild. You dont get a bunch of cash and walk away.
The other fire in town. Word is he will be rebuilding.
