was up there last weekend.... only made it in half way as a sled broke down, but it appeared to only have about 8 or so track in and out. That was last weekend, so with the snow they got last weekend and the little amount of sleds i am sure it would be great.

go in at KM 25 where you cross the lakes, i know we tried coming around on the main road and had to park 10km before the turn off in

Do you know how far in a guy can drive? Can you make it to Vermont creek? I've been wanting to head up there for a while now, as all the big chit should be down by now....Great place for a spring ride!!!

I have driving as far in as up Vermont and past the tv resilient parked at the bottom of the cut block. In the summer you can get up to the ponds if your driving a truck u don't like. Is expect to be driving the same distance this round as well

You in?

Fire me a PM with your number...I want to know if this is a 100% go, as I will be travelling solo and don't want to show up and have no one there...

So me and hrt took a blast up here. Drove almost to the lakes. Lots up top, most/all acts have come down. Give it about 1-2weeks and all creeks will be flowing to the point of not making the waterfall. By 3 it was very nicely ISO thermometer snow, good slush. Video to come.

Good ride oler...wish I would've had some higher Alt domes in my head...the 3000-6000 footers weren't cutting it for the clutching at those altitudes, but a great day with great people. I look forward to seeing the video of your "exit strategy":D Too bad the camera wasn't rollin' for your dad's rodeo:D:D Thanks for the ride....let's see what kinda trouble we can get into next season:)

We didn't have to go far from the turnoff (km17) off the Spillimacheen FSR
to get to the staging area for Silvermines (Vermont Creek FSR)
But from the the trucks to the FSR was 30km riding then up the Vermont
Bring fuel
was it worth it ..yup...
we were there on sat 26 Jan 2013
here are some pics
