silencer for 2012 800 e-tek

i heard from a test rider and his mechanic that only silencer that works on e-teks is slp and they dont give you more power just weight loss, anybody heard different

I don't think any can in the history of cans has increased power. weight saving and a little bark is about all you can expect. some cans actually lose power....

I am only familiar with MBRP and The Thing!

Both have a nice tone and both save mega weight............HP savings I'm sure is a myth!!!

Neither seem to have bad reports from Etec riders.....

I ran a Jaws can on my 2012 e-tech last season, seemed ok. I love the sound of Jaws, it has a pretty loud bark! But from what I've herd from ppl who have dyno'd them, the Jaws "Flows" really well, which can be a bad thing because u loose a little back pressure. I have a TSS can to try this season. Suppose to hold a little a more back pressure and gain a little track speed when compared to jaws. I'm gonna try it anyway, hopefully it still sounds good.
