Serial number

Hey guys/gals. I have a 96 xcr 600 that I'm looking to sell. But I can't find the serial number on it. It's not anywhere on the tunnel that I can find. Where else would it be?

No where, once the sticker on the side of the tunnel is gone, the serial number is gone. I have the same problem with an RMK. Polaris or a dealer could not help. They cannot link the engine serial number to the machine either. They said maybe if they knew whick dealership the sled originally came from they could find the serial number. So, peel the decals off a machine and she's good to go, good news for thieves, beware when your buying.

may hard to do cause some of the polaris xcr's xc's did not come with serial numbers cause they where race sleds

check the bulk head under air box theres usually the Ser # stamped their.....
