Rx1 cold start... Help

Hi All,

Posting for a friend of mine and his new to him 2004 rx1.

He went to test out the sled today for the first time and it wouldn't start up. Turned over fine for quite a while then fired up for about 5 seconds then died. In the shop when its warm the sled fires up no problem and runs great, not the same in the cold.

Any ideas what to check out would be great..

water in fuel? freezing up in cold? just a thought

Check the choke circuit. The carb sounds like is blocked.

Toss in some gasoline antifreeze. And top up with fresh petro.

He drained the fuel today, fired it up in the shop no problem then let it sit outside for a couple hours and won'f t fire again!!

Any other ideas on what to check? anyone else with the same issue?

pop the plugs and see which you're not getting...fuel or spark...
