I myself have an rkt 860 but 2 of the guys I ride with have the 827 kits one of them is 3 years old and the other one is almost 2years old and from our experience's with these motors there bullet proof if you run good fuel all the time. I'm very happy with the performance and you probably will be to!

:d yep you bet, they are a good kit,had one on my 06 800 and it ran cooler then the stock. i would say they are bullet proof..
