replace throttle cable.

I have to replace my throttle cable and figured i might as well get a longer one and do away with the power mad extension...

Anyone know which to buy? will the longer XP cable do the trick or is there oil pump measurements to be aware of?

i think it will be pretty tough to eat up the 8" riser. beach sled just did his throttle cable and got the longest one he could get and it was still about 4" to short and hes got a 10" riser. try aftermarket mod places like specialty or mountain magic they would probably be your best chance of finding what you need.

not at all.. the new cable will only be a spare.. the duct tape and popsicle sticks will stay on my sled.

thanks for the offer but i think i will keep mine that is held together by duct tape.... you need to talk tooo my cuzz ... he likes that old iron... to bad you wasted your money on that kitty cat lol....

I went to the local Harley Davidson shop and got them to make me a longer throttle cable.
cost me a case of beer

i would just go to a local bike shop.

there is a longer cable that i know of but its only single. no oil injection...but thats a good mod anyways.
