Is anyone doing anything to the clutching on there 2012-newer Proclimbs? I have a 2012, and it seems to work awesome with the weights I run, but I am wondering if anyone has tried anything different and if it has worked better than stock.

Thanks,

I asked mountain magic about clutching a while ago and Bruce recommended a Dalton 44/36 helix and a yellow/green spring in the primary. Also for running down low 2 gram heavier weights. As many others have posted, the 20 tooth top gear is a must.

Great Info!! Thanks! I guess that the lack of replies to this thread means people are keeping there clutching secrets to themselves? Or no one is doing much for clutching?

Check the proclimb section, lots of clutching info there. I've posted before what I used to run before I boosted mine. I ran a team secondary, mds weights, Polaris 100/340 spring and the 20t and it was night and day difference. Hope that helps!
