Problem with a 5oo sportsman

I have tried to fix the wifes quad but im at a stand still The problem is it start great and run great but when it is getting driven if the front brake is appied it will shut off you have to turn the key off and it start up no problem it will not do it when it is in park

What year is it? EFI or carb?

I found the problem from factor they put the wiring for the passenger rear light under the plastic it wore 3 wires and must have grounded it self to the frame
