I have recently rode my new pro chassis and realized that i can kick snow into the clutch and make it slip. aswell for the better part of the day i could smell burning belt because of my wet clutches. the snow is coming in the running board. i have made a remedy for this issue and would like some input.

That looks as good as the aftermarket solutions that are available from Skinz etc. Probably cheaper too.

Let me know how much, I've got someone coming through Regina on Thursday, I'd love to try them out if you have a set available with the mounting accessories

I have went to an 809 belt not sure exact code or part number from Mountain Magic and i havent had any belt slipping since i changed it and my buddy on a stocker had the same issues and changed his out and no more slipping. Stock belts seem be slipping on the new pros for some reason.

You have done a great job of reducing snow getting to the belt with minimal restriction of air flow out. There are aftermarket versions out there already that fail in minimizing the air restriction that you have succeded in by using large mesh screening. Other aftermarket versions us very fine mesh screening in this location. Check out a snow shoe and you will see the effect. Large mesh works fine. I would use fine wired 10 mesh stainless screen myself. You will get very minimal snow getting in but excellent heat rejection. You do not need to stop 100% of snow getting in here.

Check out Mike Taylor on Snowest he has vent kits for the footwells to eliminate snow getting to the clutches.

Nice . You said you may go into production ? What will be your asking price ? I could use an extra set for a friends Pro.
I am using The Mike Taylor style on 2 of my sleds now and they do work. I see yours will be great also.

Thanks
