Hello all. Have not seen a thread like this and I know people get banged up sledding. Just thought it would be cool to hear some stories.

I'll start. Knees that are completely shot now from hitting where the pull cord is, probably a couple concussions, countless knuckle gashes fixing my grenade and my worst, a broken femur last family day.

No pics but 3 broken ribs, countless knee, arm, shoulder scrapes and bruises.

I wear a chest protector now to keep from getting speared by the handlebar riser, saved my bacon twice last year.

The picture is small but is shows the xray of the steel strapping and screws in my hip socket. Also broke my pelvis at the same time, but had to let it heal on its own.

D@MN ROCKS they will jump out of nowhere!!!

2006 - broke arm in 8 places - airlifted out of Northern Ontario.
All repaired after a dozen screws, two plates, 24 months of
physio and two new sleds since then.
You gotta love this sport!
