Polaris problem

I have some problems with my rmk 800 2000mod. When I give full throttle the engine starts shooting. This only happends around 4000- 5000 rpm. Is there someone how knows why?

Does this mean back firing? Explosive noises coming out of the exhaust? Need a little more explanation please.....

That usally means a very lean gas mixture or your timing is way out. Check your crank seals and/or your carb boots if they are leakings...causing it to run lean.
