We had our first general meeting on October 26th with a decent turnout. We had 17 people in attendance, thanks to those that came out to show their support.

Here are some of the highlights from the last meeting. First off, we have voted in a new Executive. Tim Lagace (zal) is now President, Troy Lorencz (teeroy) is Vice President and Bernie Boucher is the new Secretary/Treasurer for the club. Also, Richard Lorentz was voted in as the new Trail Coordinator for the West side. I would like to say thank you to these people for stepping forward and am looking forward to working with you guys.

Also, we will now be holding meetings on the THIRD THURSDAY of the months of October through to March. The meetings will be held at the Ag Grounds on the East hill. That means the next meeting will be thursday November 18th at 7pm.

Just a reminder for those who have not bought their passes yet, please purchase them. Without you, the sledders, our club would not exist. You can purchase your passes at Maximum Powersports, Thomas Homes and RV, Ace Machining and Welding, Lorette Truck Service in Grimshaw, Dwayne Buchholtz and Bernie Kowalchuck. We will also be selling passes at the meetings. The passes do go up $10 in the new year.

On behalf of the Peace Valley Snow Riders, we would like to say Thank You to Bernie Kowalchuck (BernieK) for stepping up at the first meeting last season to become President. With your hard work and ideas, you have given us the stepping stones to become a successful snowmobile club. Thank You Bernie.

Hope to see you all at the next meeting. We will be talking more about the poker rally and where we are at with the trails. If you are interested in helping Sebastien with the poker rally, please email him at boondocker@live.ca
He will need help in getting sponsors, donations, setting up the trail and whatever else is needed.
