Hey guys, looking to re-do my a-arms on my Switchback. Willows and such have taken their toll, and the black base is showing through the grey factory paint or powder coat (not sure what is done at factory).
I am not certain I will be able to access powder coating nearby. If not, what do you guys recommend for prep procedure and what type of paint, clearcoat, etc. What grit of sandpaper will do a good job of stripping the old stuff off?I have read rust-oleum are good products, and some others.
Your thoughts? I am looking to make this look a little nicer for when I sell it here soon!
