Check the rad for mud. It hides in the rad and is tricky to get out.

How is the fan? You can jump the wires at the sensor and see if the fan runs.
I had some overheating last year and it was mud.

A trick I heard from another polaris rider at the Medicine Lake rally to get the mud out of the fins of the rad is to use scrubbing bubbles for the shower. I will be trying this tomorrow as both of my polarises have mud in the rad. Remember when you go through mud hole or swamp land to get off after the hole and remove stuff from in the fan. Wife got a ton of swamp grass into the fan at MED. Fan no work if stuff in there, cleaned out and wala works.
