Old but good

I have just discovered this part of the Internet. I ride an 05 King Quad 700.
This winter I installed tracks and enjoy it even more. I am having a problem with the Revere Override. I do not see any difference when I press this button. Is there some way I can override the switch or check to test it to see if it is even working.
