We are coming to ride Revy Apr 17th for a few days so should I install a pair of scratchers on my Summit so I don't over heat on the trail?
I have never ridden this late in the season so never needed them.

You should not need scratchers this time of the year with the snow conditions.
As pp stated. Snow is like a slurpee lower down and this is were you need the cooling. That type of snow cools things down great.

I say yes... If you get out of bed in the morning and go before 10am the snow is frozen solid from the previous days "slurpee" conditions and you need all the cooling you can get.

Hey, Will I be able to stage at Boulder or Frisby with my big trailer? or will I need a sled deck to get somewhere worth staging. Wrecked my skis earlier this year in Montana. Going up was fine but the snow melted throughout the day and had to drive a lota road on the way down. Thanks!

No problem here yet. Trails are in great shape. Definitely spring conditions up top. Enjoy your trip.

So does that mean we can still stage in the main parking area or do we have to ferry the sleds up the trail on a deck a bit to find snow?
