Renshaw today to help rescue a cat broke down. enough of a repair on the hill to drive it out so no pulling him. Had to park at km 2 just past bridge as the snow for the first 2 is not good and if we don't get some snow in the valley it will get worse. the trail is in very good shape after about km 5.
The reward up top is well worth it, lots to play in and still have yet to hit a landmine. work day so no pic's.

Its called profesional volunteer Barry. Your pay is knowing that you are making it better for someone else. Still not enough to fill the sled is it.

Rode the Renshaw friday morning with a group of 5. 15 maybe total on the hill. broke trail at KM23 to the cabin. took a couple hrs with so much fresh. socked in all day. Rod took a crew in into Blackwater... they came back out to KM23 and up to the cabin 30min after we broke up to the cabin

couple guys that were with us were there on monday and said there must be at least 2 feet since they were last there. my probe was useless in most places :)

o also had a rude awaking saturday nite at the north country. there was only 6 rooms rented on the far side from the resturant. (5 ours and 1 unknown) i had the only room upstars and the other 4 in our group were downstairs

long story but woke up to some loud banging downstairs at 1:45AM. the banging got louder and louder. it was like t-rex was walkin around and the cup of water was making waves. then there was two hugh bangs follow by two bangs of broken glass.

wake up sunday morning to mee the crew at the resturant to see broken glass all over the sidewalk outside a room.... blood on the glass, sidewalk and even the curtains. apprently someone mustve came home early and passed out and the 2 others didnt have a key so they thought breaking down the door (or attempted) was the way to go.

ring the f*$&*ing buzzer... lady wouldve yet you in.

thx north country staff for everything...

Rained all day in the valley but up top you could see the white stuff dumping for sure. Not riding until Friday and will be going up Renshaw. Don't think we can ride from the parking lot so will have to go up Thurs. for a drive and will let all know where to park.
