I like the changes they made. They could have moved the brake disc down though. And why a 2.6" track? Just go to 3" already.
Interested in trying one out.

Really, should just wait for some side by side impressions. Might not need a 3" to be close to the mighty T3. Might be more winters like this. I know just stiffer lugs on my Pro was very nice for BC snow.

Hope the early peek means a demo tour.

somewhat disappointing release from polaris. would like to try one though, looks to be a little more rider forward. wish they would have narrowed up the front to 36" that made a huge difference to my 2012. hoping cat has some big changes other wise all we are gonna see from doo is some new colours.

I lost track of how many threads there on the new RMK. A few things people seem to be questioning is the track length. This is only a release of the 155. It leaves the door open for a few added extras on longer length sleds. Maybe it is just marketing, or maybe a little gamesmanship towards the other manufacturers, setting them up to believe this is all they have to offer for 2016.

Just as Doo only has the 3" in the 163/174, there could be another track other than the 2.6 on the longer sleds? Possible.

Overall its a good release for this sled. I loved all the comments on their release though, people wanting a turbo who have likely never ridden a turbo, wanting a 3" when they live in the flatland, wanting to know if it comes with a spare belt.

I think that they were just releasing the 155" for the weight numbers. Just as the 2015 Pro 155" is said to be 417 lbs, and the 163" is said to be 424 lbs. Still impressive that they could drop the new chassis to 408 lbs. Maybe the 163" will be 415 lbs? Just my opinion for those that are wondering why they only revealed the 155" version.

Hopefully the 800 HO is a more reliable engine then it's predecessor!! We probably won't find put till next season when the 2015 Axis 800 HO engines hit 1500-1800 miles. I really liked my '13 RMK Assault but too many of my friends blew motors up around that 1500 mile range.

There will be many of these motors with 2 or 3000 miles already maybe far more, those flatlanders can pile on 200 miles in a day no problem. I haven't heard of any issues with the new motor.

Flatlander miles are just not the same as mountain miles.

There are flatlanders with 20,000 miles on pteks. 15,000 on etecs, you just don't get that mileage in the mountains on a motor.
