my son just bought a 91 suzuki 250r its all done up never owned a 2 stroke before other then my sled is there any thing i should look for while owning it

Just the basics.
Mix gas and oil 32:1, Clean air cleaner,check chain tension,adjust if needed and lube, tire pressure,lube clutch and brake lever pivot points and in cable holder in lever with WD-40 exellent product, change clutch oil a few time a season, check nuts and bolts to make sure there all tight.
Most important of all :d:d:d:d:d ENJOY :d:d:d:d These older quad are lots of fun.

The best to avoid a rebuild on a sweet antique (u probably already knw) is to let ur machine run on idle for 10-15 minutes.... then widen the throttle...

And enjoy the quad racer....

thanks for the help the guy we bought it from was running 20 liters of fuel to 1 litre of oil
