Hello i'm Alwhitey163
This is one of the best sites out there
First post and a I'm looking for help
Hey there i have a 2013 ranger 900 xp
After a great ride on the weekend, I loaded onto the trailer and out of habit grabbed the front axles to start the broken parts hunt. this was when i found that both CV's at the diff had a lot of movement. These are new rhino axles stock length with about 50 km's on them. The movement is up, down, and front to back theres very little in and out.
Looking for some info from this great group as to if any of you have seen or herd of this problem.
Thanks and looking forward to some feedback!!!!

Is this movement at the diff? Like if you grab the joint and the spines go up in down in the cup they go into?

I think I know what you mean, I have a 2011 and was doing a service at 2500km and grabbed the axle and it moved alot, started asking around and told it was normal. even tried a new one next time was at a dealer and did the same. This is right at the diff.

Thanks for the heads up all of you.
I spoke to the dealer today and this movement is normal as long as the splines don't come out of the diff cup.
So ill keep riding like i do and keep you all posted on how it goes

welcome to poo-laris. mine are the same. if you ride hard, expect the front diff to tear out the 4 bolts from the tin plate that hold it in...
