Looking for Free Wooden Spools

Hi there,

I represent the Alberta Trials Riders Association, we're doing trials demos at both the Calgary & Edmonton Motorcycle show this year and are looking for full wooden spools 24" and up to build artificial logs out of. I have a truck & flatdeck to pick them up thats no problems. Looking for some leads as to where I can get them, or anyone who can help!

You could check with Wire Rope Industries, Any electrical wholesaler who sells heavy wire, any of the local mines-Wabumum area. Just some thoughts as to who would use large reels. Good Luck!

I have got about 20 or so cardboard tubes that are 41" or so tall and and have a 20" or so diameter. They are very strong, I have put the bucket of a skid steer on the and couldn't crush them. If you are interested in them i would be more then happy to donate them to you.

Have a few - mostly bigger ones - 36" plus. Cost me the deposit because I didn't return them but would donate them if interested. 3 minutes north of Okotoks.
