I installed a bmp clutch kit,y-pipe, pipe, and can on my xm. I am having alot if rpm fade. I will hit 7900-8000 for about 5 seconds, and it then drops to 7200-7400. Clutch kit came with a yellow, and yellow almond springs. I am running 18.4g of pin weight. Just wondering what i should doo? Thanks

That's what my bone-stock XM was doing, that RPM fade thing.

I noticed it before as well, just seems more pronounced now.

I think i got it figured out. Engine and clutches heat soaked. Seemed to run good yesterday am. Then temp got up to -3, and it faded every time i would hold to bar. Took out and punished it (-12) this morning, no fade, 7900-8000 pulls. Ran for 1/2 hour. Did 30sec pulls, and drove nice for 2-3 min between pulls. May vent, and pick up billet coolant block.

You might have to pic up one of those hand held thermometers. Run yours side by side with another sled and see if you are that much hotter . Could be a line restriction.
