Jaws can Wadding coming out

So while I was out riding my 2010 m8 started to loose power.
When I got to the truck it would not rev over 6500.
As I was tying it down i notice some insulation coming out of the exhale pipe.
I pulled it out and now it runs good.
My question is, is this can shot or can I still use it?

I would call Gregg at Jaws directly. He'll replace it or repair it.

He may void the warranty though, for installing it on your exhale pipe
