That's just it...most people don't realize that what a sled is worth too them...isn't really what it's worth on the market. If you don't want to lower your price, keep your sled. I have a dilemma right now because I have an 02 summit 800 152 that just recently has a whole new engine. It is in excellent condition. I was thinking of selling for 3000 - 3500....now do ya think that is too much. I don't want to be smoking crack..lol. I have seen 95 and 96's for 2500 bucks. Give me a break.

$3500 not too bad for a sled with a new motor and its not too old. My buddy bought his 02 3 yrs ago for $5000, so that might be a little steep but $3500 probably right in the ballpark...seems reasonable.

$3500 for a short track sled, thats 15 years old, chassis is about 5 models out of date, and its been ridden like a rental all its life..... NO CHANCE. I might offer you $50. :d

I bought a complete "parts" sled for $1000....newer than 1998......good luck selling a '95 for $3500...

that part is only 300$ to fix (lot of labour though) if its the nun, and its not to hard to fix it if its the bulk head its se;f that is bent, i bent my bulk head in three differnt places we fixed the best we could

Seen that sled there, the sales guy told me it had a bent front bulk head, the a arm on the left side is touching the shock. Or it would be at my house right now, and my wife would be riding my 670. We went there on a whim and she said, "Oh i'd let you take that home right now.." She either knew it was damaged before I did or... I wasn't going to say no in her obviously delirious/crazy state, to bad it is damaged.

I don't see $3500 as being too much for a 02 800.... brother inlaw paid $4500 for his 03 800 last year and figures he got a decent deal so 3500 or even 4K for yours given it has a new motor and is in excellent condition ......

the 02 I pointed out the guy wanted 5K firm.... 3500 is too much for a 98/99 670 ESPECIALLY if it won't rev high enough for clutch engagement.... "here buy my 98 summit, you can't test it out but thats why I'm asking only $3500 for a quick sale"

I've pretty much given up trying to figure out sled prices. Some people asking more for 02 or 03's then 06 and 07's. Some 07's that can't sell for cheap others sell instantly for stupid money....I have my 06 RT1000 up right now, $5400, no one is close to me in the price, only had 1 person interested and they seem to think $5400 is to much money

Just don't know wtf some people are thinking.......Atleast I bought it for an extremely good price.

there are zx chassis sleds worth 4500 and there are rev sleds worth 4500.

guess which one is in better shape.

i have bought ALOT of used sleds and looked around the province for my friends.

you can spend 5000 on a MINT zx or 5000 on a BAGGED TO FCK rev.

O yea I understand that, but I don't care a stock zx isn't worth anymore then $4500 for a absolutely mint sled, I wouldn't pay more then $4000 for many, I bought a 03 2 years ago for $4900 and it was very good shape, wouldn't pay close to that now its 7 years old. The newer it is the more money it's worth plain and simple, besides for extremly bad problem years. Not to mention how much more a rev vs zx is worth comparing identical sleds.

$5000 will get you a good rev now easily. People asking anywhere close for the same zx are on crack if they think they will get it.
